Plants, those green, brown and grey things growing on your Bio deck have several purposes.

  • They make the place look better. Plants can be placed in Plant Bio-pots using the Pattern buffer and placed on other decks.
  • Can be harvested for several types of Material crates.
  • Give a small mind, fun, body and soul boost each time a peep walks past one, regardless of where it is.

Plants come in two forms, trees and shrubs. Trees yield two cargo crates and shrubs yield one. Water plants are classed as shrubs.

Growing[]

Plants will not grow on their own, you need Karmarama farmers to plant them. Once hired the Karmarama will walk around the bio deck planting seeds that will, over time, grow into plants. Each plant requires a specific climate in order to grow, and will cease to do so if moved into the wrong climate.

Harvesting[]

Harvesting is done by right clicking on a plant. The red circle shows you how close it is to being fully grown and thus ready to harvest. Plants can be set to be automatically harvested when the circle fills with red, just remember to pick up the crates before they rot.

Harvesting any plant will cause a Mind, Body and Soul hit to any nearby Karmarama resident. This can cause them to leave the station if too many plants are harvested at once.
