Soul is the stat that indicates a peep's acceptance of their place in the universe. Talking to a Zedem Monk increases soul, while sleep deprivation can decrease it.
Other ways to increase soul points include sitting at a Plaza fountain, looking at the stars through at viewing gallery, being blessed by a zedem monk, walking around a zedem temple and admiring a Statue. All peeps gain a small amount of soul points per second from working (+1) but the Zedem Monks get he most (+5).
