Soul is the stat that indicates a peep's acceptance of their place in the universe. Talking to a Zedem Monk increases soul, while sleep deprivation and stress can decrease it.
Other ways to increase soul points include, sitting at a Plaza Fountain, looking at the stars through a Viewing Gallery, being blessed by a zedem monk, walking around a zedem temple and admiring a Statue. All peeps gain a small amount of soul points per second from working (+1) but the Zedem Monks get the most (+5). Dancing at a Disco provides at least +1 soul points per second but more for some races. Being sent to Lockdown Brig increase a peeps soul points by +10 per second.
A peep with a high amount of soul points will be spiritually fulfilled, a peep with very low points may become psychotic and start committing crimes.
